Pandora Wood Bead Selection

Is now in the stores, and they're totally fantastic. I love this new look wooden beads that Pandora has released, just before their new Autumn bead release too!

There are five new beads, each made from a different, exotic and endangered hardwood. There is a very dark grained bead, a chocolate grained bead, a light brown bead, a reddish brown bead and a pale, light yellow-brown bead. All have silver inner sections.

The cost is fairly reasonable, especially for a new release as they're selling for around $45 each piece, though chances are some stores may offer them for less.

I've never heard of the woods they're made from but they included Acupu wood, Muiracatiara wood, Muirapiranga wood, Cornacao wood and Pau Amarelo wood. If you haven't checked them out yet, I'd suggest you do so as they would look absolutely great, for example, on a leather bracelet which incidentally is apparently being released this Fall!

I'm eagerly looking forward to the late September release of the new batch of pandora beads also. I'm not sure if they'll have any of the lovely cubic zirconia bracelets or beads this time around, but even if not they are sure to have a great selection!

Autumn Pandora Charms

Stay tuned for more news on the Autumn 2009 Pandora Charms. Apparently they are already in the works, and from snatches I've heard here and there I believe they're going to feature a new set of Zodiac Charms which are perfect for gift giving. I'm really looking forward to seeing those!

Also, there's a new set of new Murano Glass Beads about to be released any day now, with lots of new bright colors. Aren't they coming out at a perfect time, right on schedule to add them to our summer Pandora bracelets. I'm thrilled!

I'll write another post as soon as I know more details of exactly what charms are going to be included in the Autumn release, so drop by again soon. Cheers!

Pandora Summer Charms

What's the rage in this summer's Pandora Charms? The Pandora grape charm. It's a delightful little charm, crafted in Sterling Silver, with a semi precious stone hanging from the charm. The bead itself is a bunch of grapes on a grape vine. The detail on the bead is fantastic, very intricately made. The semi precious stone hangs from the bead on a silver chain. For the green grape they used the semi precious Peridot stone. For the purple grape the semi precious stone used was the amethyst.

It is one of the better fruit and food charms that Pandora has designed. Normally, their fruit charms weren't that nice looking and I'm not sure at all how popular they were. But this grape charm is very classy and would complement any Pandora charm bracelet, no matter what other charms you had on it.

So, if you're looking to treat yourself to a new Pandora Charm and you're wanting something kind of summery you really couldn't do any better, in my opinion, than getting yourself one of the new Pandora grape charms.
